Never realized you were into the guitar. Been playing since I was 11. Tried the Chet Atkins finger picken with the backthumbing style for many yearsw. Lost it in my late 60s. Was into the Bluegrass scene for many many years. still do some church stuff but slowing down due to the nervevous fingers. A couple bourbons help. Enjoy your playing. Really into Tommy Emanuel, Joe Robinson, John Knowles. The flatpickers seem to think faster is better again and I cant stand anything that my hears cant keep up to hear what the hell they are even playing anymore. Take care and enjoy you playing.

I knew Donnie since elementary school.  He lived right around the corner from me.  He was very quiet and unassuming but a super nice person.  Condolences to his family.

I was so sad when I saw this.  My memories of Rex were from high school.  (I left Altoona shortly after graduation).  He was one of the most positive and cheerful guys I remember.  He was a loyal friend and just an all around great person!  His success was no surprise to me.  I look forward to seeing him again.

Steve and I played together in two different bands.  I loved his humor and he was a great drummer.  We kept in touch over the years.   Very sad at his passing

I always enjoyed my conversations with Ralph when we walked to Keith together.  He was very intelligent and a thoughtful person.  Always kind and with a great sense of humor. I will miss him.

This was very devastating news for me.  Of all my class of 70 classmates, Bruce and I kept in touch more than anyone.  In the recent year, he had retired and we were textng and emailing a whole lot and I was delighted to know he had retired and moved to Florida.  We were actually planning a meeting point since we were both finally in the same state.  

I look very forward to seeing him again in the resurrection!
