Retired at last on July 28th. Going to enjoy traveling and relaxing.

I have lived in this area of Virginia since 1972, when I was married to Rick Hower. I was working in banking from 1977 until 2003 and had moved up to AVP in 1989. I had enough of that and in 2003 changed careers and love my new job. I am so proud of my boys and grandchildren. They live close by and keep me young! I married Dave in 1989 and we love to travel.

I liked the dances at the school and the Penn Alto on Friday nights. I like to walk overtown to Woolworths after school with Eileen and have a vanilla coke. Football at Mansion Park was great. I enjoyed a short time in the majorettes and we went to Holland Michigan and that was a great trip. I remember the caravan to Gallitizen State Park for a picnic and the whole caravan of cars stopped to help a guy that was stuck on the side of the road. (I think he was worried at first!) Great memories.
